To offer each person within the scheme the level of personal care they need, in addition to accommodation and board.

To provide a safe and stimulating environment in which service users’ physical, social and emotional needs can be met; where people can be happy, and through staff involvement lead as high a quality of life as possible. 

To ensure that all accommodation within the scheme is of a high standard, and that it is furnished and decorated in a homely way.

To offer continuity of care through sympathetic movement within the scheme.

To ensure each person within the scheme has a person centred care plan designed to ensure their continued development. This plan is reviewed at least once a year with the service user; and if desired, with advocates of their choice. 

To assist each person to achieve their full potential by developing skills for independent living and by promoting recreation, activity and opportunity within the community at large.

To encourage each person to be independent, to make choices and to be responsible for their own actions as far as they are able and willing to do so.
