Parkside is a group home for five people with a mild to moderate learning disability. Parkside caters for people who are able to attend to their own personal needs with minimum support and do not require staff supervision 24 hours a day.

The ethos of the home is “ Developing Skills” and supporting people towards “Independent Living”.

Support and skills training is offered in a nice homely environment so that service users can become more independent. Over the years people have moved on from Parkside to less supervised accommodation.

At Parkside we are committed to quality care, we are an accredited “Investor In People”  a “Preferred Provider” with Lancashire County Council and have achieved “Home of Excellence” through the CSCI
